Jacksonville, Fla. (Aug. 16, 2023) — TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico(“TOTE”) was named a top performing Ocean Carrier in the 2023 Quest for Quality Awards sponsored by Logistics Management magazine, a leading publication serving the logistics and supply chain professionals. TOTE earned the highest scores in the Equipment and Operations and Information Technology attribute categories calculated from more than 3,500 survey respondents, including TOTE customers.

Over the last year, TOTE has added over 1,000 containers to its fleet covering 40′, 45′, and 53′ dry containers, and 40′ NaturaLINE® refrigerated containers, the most environmentally friendly reefers on the market. Additionally, TOTE has invested in state-of-the-art GPS tracking technology for its entire fleet, the only carrier in the Puerto Rico trade offering this capability on dry containers.
The results of the Quest for Quality Awards program, recognized as the gold standard for customer satisfaction and performance, are a six-month research project conducted by Peerless Research Group. One of the most notable elements about the Quest for Quality Awards is that it calls for shippers to vote in the genre of services in which they are customers; they vote for providers they believe have best delivered on quality service in specific niches.
